Draws the technical outlines for our developers

‍Asan Azure Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible, together with your fellow architects, for drawing the technical outlines for our developers. You will develop proposals under the form of POCs, work out the important technical links yourself and consult with our senior developers to prepare the applications for the future.

- You will develop a strategy for our path towards the Azure cloud

- You are not afraid of legacy code and want to put your shoulders to the wheel of our modernization project

- When making technical decisions, you take a highly pragmatic approach with good estimation of deadlines

- You are flexible and are not easily put off by a technical challenge

- You consider quality of paramount importance and help ensure a safe path to production.

‍Inaddition to architecture, you will also work on our DevOps setup and love to automate our builds and deployments of our applications and infra-as-code. This way our customers can quickly enjoy new functionalities.

Profile
Who are you. - Master's degree in ICT or equivalent through experience - You have at least 8 years of full-time experience in .Net development of which several years in the role of Cloud Solution Architect - Azure is very familiar to you and you already have a lot of experience to select the right services yourself and set them up correctly based on the needs - You are communicative and can formulate your feedback convincingly and constructively to your colleagues. - You are Dutch-speaking and can express yourself fluently in English. - Since we use the Microsoft development stack, experience in C# development is required in addition to Azure. - We expect a good knowledge of the following technologies: Azure, C#, .Net 6+, Entity framework, LINQ, NuGet, Visual Studio, Git, etc. - Knowledge of concepts such as microservices, containers, ServiceBus, Events, CQRS or Domain Driven Design are a must and concrete experience in these is definitely a plus. - Good knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) preferably based on Azure DevOps. - Good understanding of general development practices (design principles, design patterns, git, unit testing, code documentation, .... ) - You are goal oriented and pragmatic when making decisions. - You take responsibility and have a good sense of urgency. - Above all, you have a positive mindset. - You are a team player.
