The changes in the customs landscape in the coming years are not insignificant. Examples are legion: e-Commerce, e-Globalisation and the new PLDA and NCTS components in Belgium, DMS4.0 and Cargo Controller in the Netherlands, etc. We have to conclude that it will be an enormous challenge to catch every topic in time.

In order to meet this , Stream Software invested in a fully-fledged R&I department. Gregor Vekemans, Joost Delmeire and Paul van Tellingen started in their new roles within our organisation early 2021.

Gregor will take care of all changes within the customs world for Belgium and Luxembourg and acts as Manager of this brand new department. Paul will work from our office in Eindhoven on the changes within customs for the Netherlands. Finally, Joost will be in charge of the Research & Innovation part of our ILS application.

In this way, we can ensure that Stream Software continues to develop functional and pragmatic applications for its users in a sustainable manner and with a healthy focus.
